After finding the love and passion for photography while studying graphic design at university, I combined my new found interest with one that had always been there - music. Since then, I can proudly say how lucky I feel to have met and worked with so many incredible people. Through the years I found myself working and shooting in specific ways which lead me to develop a recognisable look throughout my videos. I find it beneficial to work closely and collaboratively with clients to make sure I fulfil their expectations.
Having a comfortable, confident and natural way of being has always been something I’ve strived to have on set/on tour, both for myself, but also for any crew members, and most importantly the client. In 2016, I started Anabasis Media, an independently run visuals company offering both video and photography services, focusing on, but not limiting to, music content including music videos, touring content artists and promo photo-shoots.
After 4 years of working alongside numerous bands, creatives and artists, I decided to drop the name ‘Anabasis Media’ and continue under my own. The main reason for this was that I felt working under a company name didn’t truly represent my organic self. I found though the years of working with people, that the name ‘Anabasis Media’ always became a second and less recognisable identity. I decided in May 2020, to work under my own name, and I’m excited to share both the personal and professional side of my life with you.
I currently live on the south east coast of the UK near the beach - which may be obvious through watching a few of my videos - I’ve always loved utilising the local area. Its incredible that I’m able to travel the world and discover new places and locations, but it’s always nice to come home to the coast.
I play in a post-rock band called ‘Coldbones’. In April 2020, we released our second album ‘The Cataclysm’ through Dunk! Records. You might notice in my list of work that I also shoot all our video’s. Being able to both write music and create the visuals to it is always such an amazing process. It’s a process with the smallest amount of boundaries which allows me to have full creative control, along with my bandmates.
